What you will do:
- Lead and manage a team of software developers, providing direction and guidance to ensure successful project delivery
- Own the delivery of key initiatives
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of software applications that align with Fiserv's strategic goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely and on-budget delivery
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment
What you will need to have:
- 10+ years of experience in software development
- 7+ years of payment experience in the merchant acquiring domain
- 4+ years of experience of managing and scaling engineering teams
- 7+ years of experience in Java or any similar technologies
- 5+ years of experience in relational databases like Oracle, DB2, MYSQL
- 3+ years of experience with Agile methodologies
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, or military experience
What would be great to have:
- Experience in developing software for onboarding, authorization, billing or settlement platforms in payment card processing domain
- Experience in estimating effort for team in a large scale enterprise wide initiative
