What does a successful Production Associate do at Fiserv?
You will join the team at our 1449 Kristina Way, Chesapeake, VA location and receive training on our world class plastic equipment. You will set up, maintain and troubleshoot the production machines to produce accurate work on a timely basis. You will cross train in other departments of production and perform other tasks depending on workload.
What you will do:
- Operate and maintain plastic manufacturing equipment.
- Monitor the production process and troubleshoot equipment issues as needed.
- Assemble plastic products according to specifications and guidelines.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment.
What you will need to have:
- Experience using a computer for data entry
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Ability to perform basic math to support various job responsibilities
- Ability to stand 95% of your shift and safely lift up to 40 pounds without assistance
- Must be able to reach above shoulders, climb, squat, kneel and bend often
What would be great to have:
- A high school diploma, equivalent work, or a combination of work, education and military experience
- 1 year of experience in a fast-paced production environment
- 1 year of experience in operating production machines
Important info about this role:
- Compensation is $18/hour
- You will work an assigned schedule of either 7:30am-4:00pm or 3:30pm-12:00am or 11:30pm-8:00am
- Eligible to earn shift differential pay for working 2nd or 3rd shifts
- Flexibility in schedule to work required overtime that includes weekends and holidays
