As a Software Development Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications that move money in real time. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.
What you will do:
Design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Fiserv's business goals. Also expected to lead the team through these activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.

What you will need to have:
6+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience
6+ years of experience in software development
3+ years of experience in Java and Spring Framework
3+ years of experience in NoSQL databases and relational databases
3+ years of experience in AWS or Azure.
3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, with tools like Gitlab, Gradel, Maven, Terraform, Harness, Secrets Manager, etc.
3+ years of experience with Agile methodologies
Experience in Angular web application development

This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and lead to stronger productivity.
