Program Manager
KBR is seeking a highly motivated Program Manager (PM) to lead a large, multi-year Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) prime contract. The PM oversees contract execution to accomplish Statement of Work tasks supporting customers in the intelligence and national security communities. The PM serves as the primary point of contact for contractor support allocation, ensures successful delivery of associated deliverables, and collaborates with partner SETA support, FFRDC, and government teams to support the customer mission.
The PM leads a matrixed, multi-disciplinary team supporting the customer across various mission areas: GEOINT, SIGINT, Enterprise Integration, Resiliency, Data Transport, Mission Integration & Warfighter Support, and Mission Assurance. The ideal candidate will have a technical background with experience across the Intelligence Community and possess excellent communication skills and extensive experience as a program manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary contact for program activities, establish program budget and milestones, lead development and delivery of CDRLs, and monitor adherence to cost and schedule.
- Coordinate with KBR functional and leadership staff for program execution
- Oversee 10+ Subcontract companies, process requisitions, and approve invoices.
- Leading program review sessions with both corporate leadership and customers to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Prepare contract performance self-assessments, identify potential gaps or shortfalls in addressing mission needs, receive customer performance feedback, and develop collaborative plans to address areas of improvement.
- Establish and coordinate Requirements & Architecture, Analysis, and Digital Engineering tasks with customer Office Directors, Enterprise Portfolio Managers, and Executives.
- Prioritize staffing needs, create position descriptions, and evaluate candidates.
- Manage contract tasking via Jira-based task management and maintain Contract notes in Confluence.
- Facilitates regular, professional team meetings across the program with active follow-up action items.
- Chair the weekly Contract Leadership staff meeting
- Lead weekly CO/COTR/PM status meetings
- Support the PM Council with the Director
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, computer science, engineering, or business field
- 5 years’ experience as a Program Manager of a program worth at least $50M
- 10 years of relevant experience, performed in Program Management and Systems Engineering, while holding a program management position, or time spent managing cost, schedule, and performance of a contract delivering Engineering or Analysis Services to users
- 5 years’ IC experience within the last 10 years
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a technical, computer science, engineering or business field
- Certified Program Manager
Clearance: Top Secret - SCI with Polygraph
Work Environment:
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s work location, knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, clearance level, contract affordability, and in consideration of internal parity considerations.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
