Description:You will be the Facilities and Construction Manager for the Facilities Engineering team. Our team is responsible for leading design and construction projects to meet quality, timeliness, and financial metrics.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Facilities and Construction Manager, you will be responsible for providing strategy for implementation of complex projects, staffing assignments, setting expectations, and driving execution. You will lead a team of Facilities Engineering and Construction Engineering staff to prioritize, plan, and manage design and construction projects.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Providing technical solutions and addressing issues related to architectural/engineering and general contractor providers
- Planning and managing resources for design and construction projects
- Ensuring all work meets or exceeds building codes and regulations
- Directing and managing all phases of equipment and machinery maintenance, facilities modification, and building projects
- Managing design and construction projects ranging from small task orders to over $50M

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:• Minimum of 12 years of related experience, with management experience
• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
• Working knowledge of facilities layout, design, engineering, construction, and management principles
• Experience with budgeting and cost control, project management concepts, and customer service
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline
Desired Skills:• Nationally recognized Facilities and/or Construction Management credentials (e.g., certified General Contractor, IFMA, LEED, PMP)
• Ten years of experience in Facilities and/or Construction Management
• Large facility construction project and design experience
• Demonstrated performance in a team environment with respect for others
• Knowledge of federal OSHA, ADA, building code regulations, and equipment commissioning
• Experience using CAD software, preparing and maintaining project schedules, and writing effective statements of work
• Experience with risk management, cost spend projections, lien law compliance, dispute resolution, and effective change management
• Ability to prepare and maintain project status and cost reports
• Active Professional Engineering or Architectural License in the state of Texas
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
