The Role
The Infrastructure & Corporate Citizenship (ICC) team is seeking highly motivated and qualified candidates for the position of Data Scientist . This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and diverse team of experienced data solutions engineers and analysts who design, develop, and deploy advanced data-driven solutions across a broad technological landscape. The team plays a critical role in driving analytics, insights strategy, data pipeline development, software integrations, and project-based solutions that support and advance ICC’s strategic objectives.
In this role, you will lead the end-to-end data lifecycle across multiple workstreams—from initial exploration and proof-of-concept development to production deployment, ongoing enhancement, and long-term maintenance.
This position reports to the Manager of Data Analytics and Solutions Engineering .
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

Analyze large amounts of diverse information to discover trends and patterns to drive business decisions.

Develop UI applications to deliver insights to business clients.

Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data.

Monitor and sustain model effectiveness.

Present complex information using data visualization techniques.

Create repeatable and scalable code bases and processes for improving development / execution efficiency.

Develop predictive and prescriptive models using machine-learning algorithms, optimization and AI solutions.

Collaborate with professionals across the enterprise including solutions engineers, data analysts, scientists, software developers, analysts, IT personnel and internal customers in business operations
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics or a related degree/equivalent experience.

5 years’ experience as a data scientist, statistician, research scientist, AI analyst, ML engineer, or related role.

Python proficiency.

Expertise across multiple domains of forecasting, clustering, classification, optimization, deep learning, natural language processing, LLMs, generative AI, and/or other machine learning and AI methodologies.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated working experiences with cross-functional teams.

Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to effectively communicate insights.

Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business questions into data-driven solutions.

Familiarity with data storage solutions, databases, and data processing frameworks.

High level of curiosity and inquisitiveness to connect solutions with the needs of the business

Excellent communication skills to present findings to business partner and leadership

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects without sacrificing quality
What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)

7 years’ experience as a data scientist, statistician, research scientist, AI analyst, ML engineer, or related role

Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

Experience with SQL, Databricks and/or other cloud-based data science platforms.
