Your Impact
The primary purpose of this role is to provide operational support to all components of the Learning and Development team. This includes responsibility for completing operational tasks to include scheduling, event setup, record keeping, basic communications, and data entry. This role is critical to Lowe's as it ensures that practical support elements and coordination are provided to enable successful execution of L&D programs and strategy.
What You Will Do
Plans, coordinates, and executes operational components of training programs with attention to detail and handle any issues or problems that may arise during the event
Support and coordinate physical and virtual classroom set up with stakeholders
Records critical event management data of learning events (computer-based data entry and management)
Negotiates and secures the necessary materials, resources, and facilities at the lowest possible costs to meet classroom requirements
Monitors the budget for L&D, submits invoices for all expenses, allocates expense management
Produces virtual Instructor led training sessions via virtual learning platform (Microsoft TEAMs, Adobe Connect etc.)
Manages the ordering and inventory control and supplies for learning events while anticipating material needs and changes based on the evolution of learning events
Respond to all client queries via email in a timely manner and follow up with appropriate colleagues and peers as necessary to resolve any issues
Maintains strong relationships, and effectively communicates, with catering, A/V support, room master, and facilities
Answer Level 1 & 2 participant inquiries through the Service Now platform
Provide operations support on ad hoc or special projects as assigned by management
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or GED General Studies and 3 Years Prior experience in coordination/administrative type background
Experience learning technical processes quickly and applying that knowledge
Experience making continuous improvements to processes and enhancing productivity and efficiency
Experience communicating in written, verbal and virtual formats with customers and business partners at all levels
Experience working under pressure and adapting to change
Prior events planning/management experience.
Experience managing competing priorities and doing so independently
