As a Program Manager, you will design, launch, and manage global communities of practice for higher education faculty (teaching staff) to explore Google AI tools. This role will be instrumental in cultivating a collaborative environment where educators can share approaches, resources, and teaching methodologies to enhance student learning outcomes worldwide. You will have an understanding of educational pedagogy, community building, and program management, with an ability to work across cultural contexts.
The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $134,000-$196,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Develop a strategy for the creation, growth, and sustainability of the global faculty communities, aligning with organizational goals and the needs of higher education teaching staff.
- Cultivate and nurture a global community of educators, promoting active participation and knowledge sharing around Google AI tools.
- Develop Google AI resources, templates, and guides that support the objectives of the faculty communities.
- Establish and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., product teams, marketing, research) and external partners (e.g., universities, educational organizations).
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the faculty communities, including platform administration, moderation, and technical support.
