Job Summary:
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) reports directly to the Clinic Manager and plays a vital role in guiding children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and related diagnoses toward progress and independence. This role focuses on evaluation/re-evaluation, treatment planning, supervision, parent training, and ensuring a supportive path to client success.
Job Description:
This position is open to Full-Time Hourly employees or Part-Time/Per Diem staff, offering flexibility based on your needs.
Essential Functions:
Essential functions of the job may include but are not limited to the following:
- Develop and oversee research-based, individualized ABA treatment plans.
- Teach, guide, and mentor ABA therapists using effective methods to support client growth.
- Collaborate with the client’s interdisciplinary team to set meaningful instructional goals and strategies.
- Foster a positive, encouraging, and engaging learning environment for every client.
- Serve as the main point of contact for parents/caregivers, schools, insurance providers, and medical professionals.
- Provide personalized parent training to ensure consistency across environments.
- Conduct Peer-to-Peer meetings when required by insurance agencies.
- Partner with the billing department to ensure accurate documentation and billing.
- Complete and co-sign notes and treatment data in our EMR system.
- Support clients across clinic, home, and community settings, promoting consistency and progress.
- Encourage and celebrate client achievements while maintaining a structured, supportive environment.
- Perform other job-related duties as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Current BCBA certification (required).
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis principles and practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with families, staff, schools, and the wider community.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Compassion and patience for working with children with ASD and related challenges.
- Commitment to being reliable, professional, and consistent.
- Comfortable using relevant technology and EMR systems.
- A genuine passion for helping children reach their fullest potential.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and use office/computer equipment.
- Must occasionally lift and support up to 50 pounds when assisting clients.
