The Airborne Systems Business Area, part of the Defense Sector at Leidos, currently has an opening for a Program Manager to work in our Beavercreek, OH office. This is an exciting opportunity to support US Air Force (USAF) Life Cycle Management Center (LCMC) and Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) programs at the Portfolio Level. This position will assist with local leadership of the Leidos Portfolio and support the day-to-day leadership to a team of engineers and developers, supporting a large technology portfolio ($10M+), and monitoring technical, schedule, and budget constraints.
Primary Responsibilities.
- Leidos Dayton office has an opening for a full-time Program Manager supporting a large multi-contract Research Portfolio
- Collects and reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports for review to Program Management teams.
- Assesses project financial status and develops resolutions to meet on objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress
- Administratively provide, track, and maintain status of CDRLs pertaining to contractual efforts.
- Supports Pipeline management functions
Basic Qualifications.
- BA degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience.
- Candidate shall have knowledge, experience and demonstrated ability to perform independently
- Strong Capture Management and Strategic Growth skill set. Ability to organize and control pipeline activities driving initiatives through the capture process and into execution
- Experience or familiarity with planning of projects including but not limited to labor, scope, and statement of work.
- Labor forecasting/management experience; familiarity with use of an RLN, ROM, and other project management tools.
- Great interpersonal skills and the ability to work and lead as part of a multi-disciplined team.
- Skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office applications.
- US Citizenship required for this role.
- An ability to obtain a TS level clearance
Preferred Qualifications.
- Relevant work experience as a USG DoD contractor Project Manager.
- Active DoD TS/SCI clearance
- Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level II or higher in DoD Acquisition.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project
- Experience working in a SIL environment
- Familiar with Agile Methodologies, preferably SCRUM or Kanban
- Experience with Atlassian tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Crucible, Bitbucket

Pay Range:
Pay Range $112,450.00 - $203,275.00
