As a Lead Instrumentation Engineer, you will:
- Lead instrumentation and control systems design for greenfield and brownfield projects in the energy transition space.
- Develop and review engineering deliverables including P&IDs, instrument lists, control system specifications, and automation documentation.
- Specify and manage DCS, PLC, and SIS systems throughout their lifecycle.
- Collaborate with process engineers on control narratives, cause & effect diagrams, and functional safety assessments.
- Participate in HAZOP, SIL, and design reviews, and conduct FAT for control systems.
- Ensure compliance with international standards (IEC, ISA, BSI, NFPA, ANSI, ASME, API).
- Support globally integrated delivery teams and interface with third-party systems.
Expertise:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering /Chartered Engineer
- Proven experience in instrumentation and control design within green energy, renewables, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of ICSS including DCS, ESD, FGS, and instrumentation communication protocols.
- Familiarity with safety standards IEC 61508, IEC 61511.
- Proficiency in engineering and design software, and instrumentation database tools (e.g., SPI).
- Functional safety certification is a plus
