Principal Project Manager - Engineering
Job Responsibilities:
FPSOs and/or offshore platforms Project Manager responsible for the Engineering deliverables to support the module Fabrication yards and final Integration, through to sail away
With general autonomy, this position has bottom line responsibility for the financial and technical success of very large projects
Responsible for managing all phases of project planning and execution on major (Mega) projects (typically a major project or group of projects having a total installed cost of over $500 million) in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company
Supervises project personnel through subordinate leaders and is the liaison with the owner on all project matters
Possesses knowledge of the respective industry
Can manage and coordinate domestic as well as international multiple projects, alliances, joint ventures, etc
May supervise one or more Project Managers
Can also direct the proposal effort for Major complex projects
Job role is independently accountable for a large staff or support arm of the organization
Job Requirements:
Degree in Engineering
Minimum of 22 years' experience, with an average experience of 25+ years
Experience with Oil & Gas engineering companies doing onshore and offshore projects
Experience in coordinating and serving as the focal point for mechanical equipment procurement, including but not limited to bid clarification meetings, procurement status reviews, kick-off meeting and liaison with mechanical package Engineers and client Engineers
Knowledge of multi-discipline execution of offshore projects
Knowledge of 3D CAD and other engineering and design tools, including Intelligent PIDs, SPI, SPE, and Navisworks
Possesses knowledge of the respective industries, including onshore, offshore, LNG, refinery, etc.
Knowledge of digital delivery of projects is preferred
Experience and knowledge of procurement, topsides/module fabrication is preferred
