Description:This role will support the Advanced Development Programs (ADP) - Dynamic Targeting & Surveillance team as an Associate Software Engineering Manager.
As an associate manager for our Software Integration, Infrastructure, and Automation team, you will play a part in our most mission critical platforms.
In this role, you will lead/manage a team of software engineers in the design, development, and support of automation test and delivery infrastructure. The team continues to refine utilities and tools, while continuing to identify new areas of opportunity from infrastructure that supports Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to identifying new ways and technologies to add or use to optimize build and delivery. A desire to innovate, create, and automate is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities include:
• Develop and support multi-platform automation framework, including refinement of vision and strategy, as well as supporting the development of automation tools, utilities, and resources
• Collaborating with other team leaders and CAMs to maintain budget, actuals and performance metrics
• Workforce management (re-assignments and placements, recruitment and selection of new employees and terminations) and personnel management (training, mentoring, career development, performance and compensation, and promotions)
• Management responsibility will heavily rely on collaboration with internal and external teams. The successful candidate will be a member of a high-performing team and must have demonstrated effective communication skills
• Support technical execution and leadership
The ideal candidate will be an aspiring leader with some skill and knowledge managing small groups of software engineers. The candidate must have a good understanding of agile software and software development principles.
The ideal candidate will understand schedule drivers in support of their engineers on a program in order to find and drive solutions.

Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree or above in STEM
- Experience developing in Python
- Technical leadership/lead experience leading a multidisciplinary team
Desired Skills:- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with avionics software suites or systems engineering processes
- Good communication and analytical skills
- Experience designing, programming and/or testing mission data
- Experience working with CICD Tools, such as Gitlab, Jenkins, etc
- Experience with application deployment and orchestration tools
- Experience in development of test automation infrastructure of Mission Systems data

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
