Description:Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) is looking for an Energetic Systems Administrator Intern pursuing a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology (IT), or related degree. The selected candidate will be learning and working with the IT Team, a team of Systems Administrators, Network Engineers, and System Engineers supporting the C2BMC program for the Missile Defense Agency.
Responsibilities include:
• Support the IT team in the maintenance of hardware, software and other IT resources
• Assist with IT troubleshooting issues and provide technical support as needed
• Assist with IT resource, cybersecurity compliance, and asset management activities
• Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:• Pursuing degree in a technology related field (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, IT), or engineering degree with minor (or focus) in Computer Science
• Working knowledge of computers and/or cybersecurity
• Must possess good problem solving skills
• Highly Motivated; able to perform team tasks with low direct supervision while utilizing virtual collaboration tools to interact with team
• Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:• Desire to work in a team environment
• Experience with Windows Operating Systems
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and/or Unix
• Experience with hardware and/or software systems
• Familiarity with cybersecurity and Risk Management Framework compliance

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
