Description: You will be the Subcontract Management Staff for our procurement team. Our team is responsible for managing supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk subcontracts for various programs, including commercial, DOD, and international initiatives.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Subcontract Management Staff, you will be responsible for leading multifunctional subcontract management teams and overseeing the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for specialized materials, equipment, and services.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Managing supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk subcontracts
• Leading multifunctional subcontract management teams
• Developing subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions
• Preparing bid packages, conducting bidders' conferences, and evaluating proposals
• Negotiating subcontract provisions, including price, and administering resulting subcontracts
• Holding procurement delegation and signing supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience in subcontract management, procurement, or a related field
• Knowledge of contracting principles, practices, and regulations (e.g., FAR, DFAR, etc.)
• Experience with contract types (e.g., fixed-price, cost-plus, time-and-materials, etc.)
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to lead and work with cross-functional teams
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
Desired Skills:
• Ability to Travel
• Experience with production execution and planning
• Ability to manage large multi-year contract negotiations
• Onsite presence a minimum of 2 days a week

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
