About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking an
Analytics Consultant in
the Incentive Compensation Center of Excellence (IC COE) team. This is a great opportunity for a data analytics professional to join a strong team and play a pivotal role in supporting the group's current incentive compensation plan performance reporting, analytics and automation for the incentive administration team.
In this role, you will:The
Analytics Consultant plays a crucial role in incentive compensation modeling, reporting, and analysis collaborating with various partners both inside of the IC COE as well as business leaders and control partners. Responsibilities include supporting moderately complex data modeling, performing statistical analyses to identify trends, and consulting with business partners on research requests. The position involves developing custom reports, presenting findings to stakeholders, and translating business requirements into actionable recommendations. The consultant ensures compliance with data governance policies, collaborates with experienced team members to enhance reporting processes, and participates in company-wide initiatives to meet strategic objectives. Additionally, the role requires mining and compiling data from diverse sources.
Required Qualifications:- 2+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 1+ years' experience working with analytics associated with variable incentive compensation information
Desired Qualifications:- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- 1+ year of SAS Programming experience including creating dashboards
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
- Experience with Varicent or other incentive compensation tool preferred
- Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas
- Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) Skills
- Experience handling sensitive employee information
- Experience preparing presentations, management reporting, and statistical analysis
- Knowledge and understanding of database querying and creating ad hoc reporting results using SQL or similar querying methods.
Job Expectations:Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.
