About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Credit Risk Specialist to join the Auto Lending Risk team. This team focuses on credit policy and strategy as well as oversight of credit risk related to auto loan originations. The Senior Credit Risk Specialist plays a pivotal role in the oversight and execution of credit risk management activities across the loan lifecycle. This includes origination, underwriting, risk analysis, approval, documentation, monitoring, and loss recognition. The role supports the development and maintenance of credit policies and strategies within Auto. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in credit risk analysis, policy execution, and monitoring, with a strong understanding of auto finance products and market dynamics. In this role, you will:- Lead moderately complex initiatives and identify opportunity for risk mitigation strategies within Credit Risk
- Contribute to credit performance, potential or emerging risks
- Review and analyze moderately complex processes and projects, business, operational, or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
- Receive direction from leaders
- Exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Interact with internal customers
Required Qualifications:- 4+ years of Credit Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:- Demonstrated advanced data and analytical capabilities
- Credit policy and risk experience paired with strong analytic acumen
- Proven ability to identify opportunities and develop innovative approaches leading to streamlined and efficient outcomes
- Experience with auto lending
- Fluency in data manipulation and analysis utilizing SQL/SAS

Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$100,000.00 - $179,000.00
