About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a
Senior Analytics Consultant to join the
Analytics & Decision Support (ADS) team, a dynamic group of analysts within the
Global Operations Data Analytics and Reporting (DAR) organization. This role is ideal for a
forward-thinking analytics professional who thrives on transforming data into actionable insights and is passionate about leveraging
cutting-edge tools-including AI, Python, Alteryx, SAS, and SQL- all with the goal to drive operational excellence. This role will be responsible for leading Analytics and Data innovation for operational success. The key responsibilities for the role include:
- Lead advanced data mining and modeling efforts across large, complex datasets using tools such as SAS, SQL, SSIS/SSRS, and emerging AI-driven platforms.
- Design and deploy interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI, integrating data from diverse sources with robust security and scalability.
- Serve as a strategic analytics partner to Operations Leadership, delivering consultative insights and driving data-informed decisions.
- Navigate and extract data from a wide array of systems including INDIGO, NICE/NEXIDIA, VERINT, ECCOS, HOGAN, PEGA, BMG, SASGrid, 1LLG, 1 SUM, MDW, and more.
- Champion the integration of AI and machine learning techniques into analytics workflows to enhance predictive capabilities and operational foresight.
- Lead cross-functional project teams and virtual workgroups, fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Support the build-out and optimization of data infrastructure, including databases, query tools, reporting systems, and BI platforms.
Required Qualifications:- 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2 years of experience with Tableau
- 3+ years of SQL and / or SAS experience
Desired Qualifications:- Demonstrated expertise with SQL, SAS, Python or R.
- 1+ years of Teradata experience
- , SQL and SASVA
- Demonstrated SQL skills to include the ability to write complex queries and database knowledge in order to analyze data sources across a variety of sources including but not limited to BMG, EIW, MDW, PEGA, NICE, INDIGO, HOGAN and SASGrid
- Experience with SAS Visual Analytics and/or SAS Visual Investigator
- Demonstrated data visualization experience using a BI Tool e.g., Tableau, Microsoft BI, etc
- Ability to translate complex technical needs into straightforward requests for information and collaboration, working with a wide range of people
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to quickly learn business operations and processes
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis
