Job Summary
The Salesforce Product Manager is responsible for leading the strategy, development, and
optimization of Salesforce-based solutions. This role bridges business needs with technical
capabilities, ensuring the Salesforce platform delivers maximum value to users and aligns
with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision
Define and maintain the product vision and strategy aligned with business objectives.
Develop and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing features based on customer
value and business impact.
Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform product direction.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams.
Build strategic partnerships across departments (Sales, Marketing, Finance, etc.).
Gather and analyze feedback from users, stakeholders, and customers to refine
product features.
Product Development & Lifecycle Management
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories.
Oversee the full product lifecycle: ideation, development, launch, maintenance, and
retirement.
Collaborate with developers, designers, and QA teams to ensure timely and quality
delivery.
Platform Management
Manage Salesforce configurations including roles, permissions, workflows,
dashboards, and reports.
Stay updated on new Salesforce features and recommend enhancements.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization
Define and track KPIs such as customer satisfaction, adoption rates, conversion
rates, and sales cycle time.
Use data analytics to assess product performance and identify improvement
opportunities.
Conduct training and provide support to internal teams on Salesforce usage.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or related
field.
3–5+ years of experience in product management, preferably with Salesforce.
Strong understanding of Salesforce CRM, including Apex, Visualforce, and
SOQL.
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Trello.
Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Platform Developer, or Technical Architect)
are a plus.
