Job Description
We’re seeking an analyst with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to join our Information Management and Population Health team . This role is responsible for analyzing, preparing, and processing data sets to generate insights and support analytical exploration. The analyst will leverage the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) , Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Business Objects, Tableau), and healthcare data sources to deliver meaningful analysis and reporting for both internal and external clients.
The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare or population health analytics , familiarity with data warehousing concepts , and proficiency in SQL . A background in validating data quality , troubleshooting data discrepancies , and consulting with business stakeholders is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical details into clear, actionable business insights are also critical.
This position offers exposure to diverse healthcare data, the chance to collaborate across business units, and the opportunity to demonstrate strong analytical and critical-thinking skills while driving data-informed decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Access and compile data sets from the EDW and other sources for exploratory and predefined analyses.
- Audit data sets for completeness, validity, and accuracy; address discrepancies and ensure data health.
- Support evaluation of data for analytical potential, limitations, and business impacts.
- Transform raw data into usable formats tailored to business or team-specific needs.
- Perform basic statistical testing and exploratory analysis.
- Develop clear and effective data visualizations and reporting outputs.
- Consult with stakeholders regarding data availability, quality, and analytical outcomes.
- Provide end-user support and training for reporting and BI solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with EDW data sets, workflows, and reporting solutions.
- Document processes, maintain updated reference materials, and communicate changes proactively.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, or a related field; or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Coursework or work experience in SQL programming and/or report building.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to engage with business owners to capture functional requirements.
- Must reside in, or be willing to relocate to, Columbia, MO.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in healthcare, sciences, or information systems.
- Experience with Data Warehousing and ETL concepts.
- Familiarity with BI and visualization tools such as Power BI, SAP Business Objects, or Tableau.
- Basic knowledge of CCL (Cerner Command Language).

US: Hiring Range in USD from $21.97 - $42.88 per hour; from: $45,700 - $89,200 per year. May be eligible for equity.
