Description:In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Production team as a Production Controller, assisting with planning, coordinating, and expediting activities that impact schedules for D5 missile production in the Missile Assembly Building. As a prime liaison for the organization, you will interact with senior internal and external personnel, including government officials, customers, and suppliers, to ensure effective communication and coordination of production activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, prepare, and coordinate activities that impact schedules for D5 missile production in the Missile Assembly Building
• Provide backup Production Controller support to other Missile Body Operations buildings as necessary
• Expedite the timely resolution of issues that impede the production process flow
• Analyze and report status of production activities and contract deliverables
• Coordinate Special Support Equipment (SSE)/facility maintenance schedules and requirements
• Act as a liaison among other LMS SWFLANT organizations relating to missile production support requirements
• Perform root cause analysis/corrective actions, and other collateral duties
• Develop and maintain relationships with other SWFLANT organizations, including Program Planning and Documentation, Operations Support, Handling and Transportation work groups
• Review operational requirements and command media
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of production activities and schedules
• Represent the organization in a professional and courteous manner, maintaining a high level of integrity and confidentiality
Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Ability to obtain an Arms, Ammunition, and Explosives certification
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with logistics/planning
• Familiarity with generic and ordnance safety requirements
• Willing to work around ordnance on a daily basis
• Willing to work extended hours (weekday/weekends) on a regular basis
• Interim Secret clearance required prior to start. Cannot have dual citizenship. Ability to obtain and retain a DoD Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:• Specific knowledge of the D5 technical program management and FBM manufacturing requirements
• Knowledge of production documentation and computer systems such as SAP, IMPS, AMOS, and IMAP
• Missile processing experience, missile final assembly, inspections, test and checkout operations
• Demonstrated strong performance skills (accuracy and closure)
• Experience working around ordnance
• Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with customers (company and government) and establish trust and credibility
• Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
• Experience at an FBM field processing site (i.e. SWFLANT, SWFPAC, ER)
• Experience with Continuous Improvement and Change Management
• Ability to perform in a group/team environment with relationship building skills
• Strong organizational skills (monitoring/tracking/closure)
• Demonstrated excellent communication skills (verbal, presentations, and written)
• Strong safety mindset
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior internal and external personnel
• Experience with conflict resolution and negotiation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
