Description:We are Lockheed MartinThe Engineering & Technology Vehicle Systems Operations team is seeking a motivated and experienced Project Engineer to support the Digital Transformation team. As the VS Digital Transformation Lead, you will be the catalyst for change, driving innovation and growth through the strategic application of digital technologies.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive digital transformation strategy that enables our organization to stay ahead of the curve. You will leverage your expertise in digital technologies, such as artificial intelligence and data analytics, to drive business growth, improve efficiency, and enhance customer experience
Key responsibilities:
1. Digital Transformation Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute digital transformation strategies to drive business growth, improve efficiency, and enhance customer experience.
2. Stakeholder Management and Communication: Provide guidance to 1LMX product owners and program managers throughout the program lifecycle, and communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including leadership, to ensure alignment and support for digital transformation initiatives.
3. Program Rhythms and Governance: Run internal program rhythms like the monthly operating reviews and coordination meetings to ensure seamless execution and progress tracking.
4. Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to accomplish common goals, and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
5. Process Improvement and Analysis: Make recommendations for process improvements based on analysis and observations of flow within departments, and exercise independent judgment to consistently target monthly KPI standards and expectations.
6. Special Projects and Initiatives: Lead special projects as assigned by immediate supervisor and other members of the management staff, or self-defined based on research and judgment.

• Experience with developing and executing strategies
• Project Engineering experience
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to complete complex projects or objectives
Desired Skills:• Experience with Discretionary budget process (NBF, IT, capital)
• Experience working within or with Vehicle Systems and Flight Sciences competencies
• Excellent communication, integration and organizational skills for interaction with peers, external personnel, and all levels of leadership
• Project experience, including developing project plans, identifying stakeholders, preparing corresponding communication plans, identifying milestones, deadlines, and metrics to assess outcomes/results
• Continuous Improvement Training/Mindset
• Change Management Training/Experience
• Strong communication skills along with the ability to build relationships with hiring managers at all levels within the organization
• Ability to work independently and execute projects with minimal supervision
• Working knowledge of Lockheed Martin policies and procedures

• Familiarity with digital transformation platforms or software

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
