The Opportunity
As a Brand Marketing Senior, you will champion go-to-market planning and integrated marketing campaigns that amplify our brand's unwavering commitment to military communities. You'll be instrumental in developing and executing purpose-driven initiatives, with a strong emphasis on cause marketing strategies, that cultivate brand awareness, foster deep engagement, and reinforce our advocacy efforts across diverse multichannel platforms.
This role demands a strategic and innovative thinker with a genuine passion for authentic storytelling, a laser focus on audience-centric marketing, and a proven aptitude for seamless cross-functional collaboration. You'll harness market insights, meticulously analyze campaign performance data, and actively solicit stakeholder input to deliver impactful campaigns that deeply resonate with military audiences and align seamlessly with broader brand objectives. Your expertise in cause-related marketing will be crucial in shaping our brand's narrative and driving meaningful connections.
We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Colorado Springs, CO, Charlotte, NC, Chesapeake, VA or Tampa, FL. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
What you'll do:
- Contributes to the development and delivery of go-to-market plans.
- Facilitates the integration of cross-functional collaboration and innovations by supplying knowledge between Business Partners and Marketing.
- Provides status updates on applicable marketing, sales and service activities to key team members and business partners.
- Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns and assess ROI and KPIs.
- Manages assigned Marketing budget/s.
- Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities that help support development of marketing strategies.
- Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
- Bachelor’s degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- 6 or more years of progressive marketing experience required.
- Subject-matter-expert understanding of the marketing function/discipline and demonstrated application of knowledge, skills and abilities.

- Extensive experience leading purpose-driven and advocacy marketing campaigns, with a demonstrated track record of success in cause marketing.
- Significant experience in developing and executing cause marketing programs that drive brand awareness, engagement, and positive social impact.
- Strong understanding of military culture, values, and community dynamics, enabling the creation of authentic and impactful cause marketing initiatives.
- Proven ability to translate audience insights into compelling marketing strategies, particularly within the context of cause marketing.
- US military experience through military service or a military spouse/domestic partner
Compensation range: The salary range for this position is: $103,450 - $197.730.

Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location.
Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
