Raytheon is seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Logistics Specialist, supporting various logistics initiatives across multiple programs. This role focuses on a suite of products within the logistics department, with an emphasis on logistics data development and technical manual procedures.
As part of the Life Cycle Engineering Team, you will contribute to every phase of the product lifecycle—from design and validation to integration and long-term sustainment.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled communicator, both written and verbal, to either launch or advance their career in the aerospace and defense industry. To be eligible for a SkillBridge Fellowship, you must meet the following requirements:
Must be eligible to participate in Fellowship per DoD Instruction 1322.29.
Must be projected to receive an honorable discharge from the military.
Must have all TAP and transition requirements completed prior to the start date.
Must receive approval from Unit Commander or O4+ in the chain of command.
Must be located within a commutable distance or willing/approved to relocate to the job location.
What You Will Do
Support Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) tasks, including reliability and spare parts analysis, development of container solutions, and creation of Technical Data Packages (TDPs).
Develop, validate, and maintain technical documentation such as manuals, provisioning data, and training materials.
Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot technical issues, resolve sustainment challenges, and inform product design decisions.
Conduct supportability analyses to influence logistics strategies and lifecycle cost effectiveness.
Coordinate spares, tools, and consumables to support global field deployments and operational readiness
Support and participate in customer training and validation events, both domestically and internationally.
Ensure compliance with technical standards and program objectives across all logistics deliverables.
Serve as a critical link between engineering development and field operations, driving sustainment solutions from concept through deployment.
This position requires up to 15% domestic and international travel
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field.
Experience supporting the creation and maintenance of technical manuals, work instructions, and/or related logistics documentation.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience supporting development programs, production and/or sustainment programs.
Experience in munitions and weapons maintenance or inspection within a military occupational specialty, with a focus on compliance, quality assurance, or evaluation duties.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, detail oriented, able to follow instructions from leadership and peers with experience
Demonstrated experience with leadership teams; experience solving problems and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
