POSITION SUMMARY
The Account Director position, based in the Twin Cities, is responsible for leading cross-functional teams and account management services with multiple Facility Managers reporting to them. This position has managerial oversight of a portfolio of client facilities as well as being an integrated team member, developing and managing multiple services including Facility and Property Management services, space planning, lease administration, project management and transaction management oversight.
This position provides leadership and management across all aspects of accounts including service delivery standards, client experience & relationship management, talent and team development and financial performance.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
- Maintain a strategic understanding of the clients’ business goals and strategies.
- Establish and implement the overall strategy and performance metrics.
- Oversee account management activities and direct reports.
- Identify and provide service solutions for expansion of existing client services and new business development opportunities.
- Actively engage subject matter expertise to bring best practices to our client.
- Provide day-to-day leadership to the account staff.
- Establish a strong partnership with the client.
- Present written recommendations to clients including economic justifications, financial reports, and monthly summary reporting in line with contractual requirements
- Strategic Leadership.
- Develop and gain approval on strategic plans, occupancy strategies and identified cost efficiencies opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policy and procedures.
- Ensure account profitability in line with corporate forecast and standards.
KEY COMPETENCIES
Experience with cross functional, integrated facility management services Leadership & customer relationship management in Commercial Real Estate. Strong communication and presentation skills Financial management acumen
IMPORTANT EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate management, or related field.
- CFM, FMA, RPA, CPM, CCIM industry certifications recommended, other technical training or certifications a plus.
Important Experience
- 10 years+ of Management level or other similar capacity
- Experience in Commercial Real Estate, directly leading and managing multi-disciplined teams
- Experience in analyzing commercial lease and contract language

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role. The compensation for the position is: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00.
