Description:This position will be the Operations Functional Architect within the 1LMX Enterprise Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Portfolio. This includes close collaboration with both the 1LMX Model-Based Enterprise (MBE) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) product teams. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Working closely with chief architects, functional product managers and leads, IT solution architects, and data architects to ensure functional requirements are properly defined and allocated to specific product teams, and identify necessary process modifications, data transformations/exchanges, and appropriate deployment/use of application capabilities
• Integrating with other Value Stream Architects to ensure the ‘To Be’ process is cohesive from an ‘End to End’ perspective and cross team impacts are aligned and understood
• Supporting development of business process architecture and ensuring decisions from common and detail design are maintained during build phase and/or facilitates adjudication on areas of misalignment
• Providing peer review support of critical functional development specifications and guidance when requirements or design decisions are not aligned with the end-end functional defined business processes
• Ensuring traceability of requirements is maintained, supporting Technical Baselines and Design Review Boards, and bringing forwards elements that may impact the technical/functional baseline (L3 changes, tool selections, capability definitions, etc)
• Participating in integration testing activities and providing training and capability adoption support to the end user community
• Supporting MES business data stewardship efforts by promoting the usage of data as strategic asset, helping to bridge gaps between functional and technical terminology, improving data quality, and implementing data decisions including the enforcement of data standards, policies, and guidelines.
As a key member of the Operations Transformation team, the candidate will need to know the business functional domain, be technology savvy, be able to negotiate compromises, and have business acumen.
Regular travel will be required (~1x/month)
Basic Qualifications:• Strong experience in manufacturing and quality business process, ideally including a number of the following: manufacturing execution, maintenance & repair, quality management, and supplier/receiving inspection.
• Technical background in manufacturing execution systems (MES)
• Prior experience in multiple business areas and organizations
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functional and program organizations, and with multiple business areas
• Excellent written, verbal and briefing/presentation communications skills
• Experience leading virtual teams
• US citizenship required do to system access
Desired Skills:• Project management experience
• Strong planning, communication, and presentation skills; and the capability to listen and influence.
• Experience with Dassault Apriso
• Experience in Agile software development process, specifically with SAFe Agile Framework
• Direct experience or understanding of LM Digital Transformation and 1LMX

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $141,300 - $244,835. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
