Description: You will be an Engineer at Lockheed Martin, supporting the HWIL COE working on multiple programs. What You Will Be Doing
As a HWIL Engineer, you will be responsible for:
• Overseeing the design, development, and implementation of real-time, closed-loop HWIL capabilities
• Using lab equipment to troubleshoot hardware and software failures in support of HWIL integration and testing
• Supporting program meetings, providing project status, and interfacing with a multi-discipline team
• Designing, developing, and testing air vehicle software, firmware, and hardware, and integrating stimulation equipment into the HWIL facility
• Supporting the integration team in debugging software, hardware, connectors, timing, and designs
• Integrating, testing, verifying, and validating the system and various subsystems

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. An Interim Clearance is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Management or a related discipline
- 3+ years' experience integrating HW and SW
- HWIL real-time, closed-loop simulation experience
- Experience working with RF test equipment (network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, etc.)
- Interim Clearance required to start
Desired Skills:
- Proven ability to interpret customer needs, work with the team to develop software solutions, product backlogs, and provide technical feedback to the team
-Experience as an engineer working with multi-disciplined teams
-Experience performing Missile 6DOF simulation design and analysis and HWIL design and simulation analysis
-Support preflight system performance assessment and post flight verification analyses.
-Flight software integration and verification experience is also a plus
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
