Wells Fargo is seeking an Operations Manager for as part of Consumer and Small Business Banking Operation within the Cash Managements Service Operations
In this role, you will:- Manage and develop one or more specialized customer service and operations functional teams within Operations area with complex and risk in functional area
- Develop strategies to improve staffing processes, ensure specialized functions meet regulatory guidelines in support of risk management and compliance
- Engage stakeholders and internal partners associated within the Operations area
- Work independently on moderately complex issues and projects
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk control development and escalates issues to more experienced management
- Provide training, performance, evaluation and coaching of less experienced team
- Make decisions and resolve issues regarding resources, objectives and operations of functional area and team to meet business objectives
- Interpret and develop policies and procedures for operation functions with low to moderate complexity within scope of responsibility
- Provide responsibility for budget and financial performance
- Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers
- Lead team to achieve objectives
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Operations
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
Required Qualifications:- 4+ years of Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:- 4+ years of Cash Management Services Operations experience
- Workforce management experience including: directing activities of team members, performance management, career development, coaching, mentoring, and succession planning
- Cash management operating system experience
- Ability to identify risks and propose mitigation plans
- Ability to manage to production goals, deadlines, and various metrics including capacity planning, forecasting, process improvement, and measurements
- Ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of an organization; including senior leadership/management
- Experience leading other exempt level managers
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Adaptability and ability to think on your feet to adjust and react to daily operations issues.
- Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
- Ability to exercise independent judgment to identify and resolve problems
- Ability to manage initiatives involving process improvements
- Experience successfully collaborating with others in a change driven environment
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Job Expectations:- Flexibility and willing to work non-standard hours; including holidays, weekends & extended shifts.
- This is a Monday - Friday position with a start time of 7:00am-4:00pm. Scheduled and time will be adjusted according to the opening and closing times of the vault.
