What does a successful Senior Director, Business Transformation do?
As Senior Director of Business Transformation – Merchant Solutions at Fiserv, you will spearhead our transformation initiatives, driving change across our Merchant Solutions division. Your expertise will translate high-level strategic goals into actionable workstreams, fostering collaboration and delivering measurable impact. You will be a guiding force for innovation and execution, ensuring our continued leadership in the FinTech space.
What you will do:
- Transform strategic goals into clear problem statements and actionable plans with structured workplans, defined milestones, and measurable outcomes.
- Lead cross-functional talent pods across Sales, Servicing, Billing, Product, and Technology, ensuring alignment and accountability.
- Proactively resolve roadblocks and maintain momentum in delivering initiatives impacting NPS, revenue, and cost efficiency.
- Design and execute pilots for onboarding, servicing, and pricing improvements, defining success metrics and tracking performance.
- Scale successful pilots into core business processes in partnership with Product and Technology teams.
- Coach associates and consultants to develop problem-solving and execution capabilities, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Manage multiple initiatives while enhancing team skills and capacity.
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, operations, or a related field and/or equivalent military experience.
- 8+ years of experience in strategy consulting, transformation leadership roles within payments, fintech, or financial services.
- 8+ years of experience in management consulting roles (e.g., Big 4, top-tier strategy firms).
- 8+ years of experience working with technology and operations in a global, matrixed environment.
- 8+ years of experience leading complex transformation programs.
