Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Contribute to machine concept development, performance planning, and control requirements definition.
Develop and validate machine performance and control strategies to ensure target achievement.
Perform complex analysis to identify performance trends, market competitiveness, performance gaps, and control issues; formulate and implement improvement strategies.
Generate and manage machine performance specifications, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
While this role may evolve into a leadership position, the primary focus is on technical delivery. Collaborate with internal and external teams including CQL Engineering, suppliers, and customers. Communicate technical information clearly and accurately.
Make decisions that may impact project delivery, warranty costs, customer perception, and technology adoption.
Demonstrate strong industry experience, software proficiency, analytical skills, and engineering expertise.
Address challenges related to performance, control, cost, reliability, and priority management. Stay updated on customer needs and emerging technologies. Provide guidance to junior engineers, technologists, and technicians. Engage in activities such as:
- Developing machine performance and control strategies and logic requirements
- Conducting needs analysis and initiating innovative ideas
- Evaluating new products or processes
- Performing product maintenance
- Researching and developing new technologies
- Communicating technical information to stakeholders
- Advising engineers, managers, marketing teams, customers, and suppliers
Manage personal development through continuous learning and staying abreast of technological advancements.
Skill Descriptors
Computer-Aided Design & Engineering: Knowledge of CAN Interface Software tools and techniques of specialized graphics programs; ability to produce, analyze, simulate and test product design drafts.
Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
Process Management: Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques; ability to understand, monitor, update, control, or enhance existing business or work processes.
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

This position requires the candidate to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.
