Job Description:
We are currently seeking the Director of Strategy for Caterpillar’s newly formed Integrated Components Division (ICD). This division is responsible for component development and manufacturing, and is a very important element of Caterpillar’s strategy to unlock new opportunities, accelerating innovation and delivering even greater value to our customers.
The Integrated Components Division is responsible for the manufacturing of Wear Components (Undercarriage and GET), Maintenance Components (Seals, Tubes & Hardware, Hose & Couplings, Fluids and Filters), Advanced Components Manufacturing, Product design and development of Hydraulics and Cabs strategy.
As we deliver for our customer, we accomplish this as one team– creating and delivering world-class components and solutions superior to the competition.
As the Director of Strategy for ICD, you will play a critical role in the success of the collective division driving key strategic initiatives and actions across ICD and the enterprise. As a senior leader, you will provide strategic input and facilitation to Executive Leadership.
Furthermore, you will lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives for ICD with a focus on footprint and capacity, digital and automation for product and manufacturing, and the quality strategy. You will lead these initiatives, staff and activities for the division while working collaboratively across other major segments and divisions of the enterprise.
What you will do:
• Develop and monitor S&P organization's business plans, pricing strategies and revenue / profit objectives for a large division or major portion of a business segment. Plans, administers and manages organizational P&L.
• Development of comprehensive quality and lean strategies, digital and automation strategies, and footprint and capacity strategies for ICD.
• Define and oversee the infrastructure / resources for S&P consulting teams for a large division or major portion of a business segment. Define, monitor and use service metrics to assess performance and continuously improve.
• Direct development and continual improvement of S&P consulting services for a large division or major portion of a business segment. Motivate, manage and develop consulting staff. Support the organization's culture and values.
• Manage overall S&P client relationships for a large division or major portion of a business segment. Prospect, market and develop new / existing clients. Monitors major projects' progress to ensure client satisfaction. Oversees major RFPs.
Degree Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, Strategy, or a related field.

Additional Details:
• This role is based out of Dallas, TX and will be on-site 5 days a week.
• Domestic relocation is offered for this role.
• This role is expected to travel 50% of the time.

• This position is eligible for stock or other equity grants pursuant to Caterpillar’s long-term incentive plan.
Summary Pay Range:
$185,400.00 - $278,160.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
