As part of the ConvergeProsperity BankingSuite team, you will work with banking clients, the product team, and the Deloitte sales/delivery teams. Through your client-facing efforts, you toe the line between client needs and product capabilities. You will work closely with the Deloitte sales/delivery leaders to shape enablement efforts and drive product-market fit. You will also work closely with the product teams to ensure that client feedback shapes the future roadmap.

Work you’ll do
- Design, build, and operate digital experiences, business processes, and features within the BankingSuite platform by leading a team to define capabilities, create user stories, lead technology execution, and orchestrate multiple FinTech vendors within a modern and complex ecosystem.
- Prioritize strategic requests, contract and partner with external firms, execute changes in a high-quality fashion, and communicate progress to key stakeholders.
- Provide KPI’s that informs management of the highest priority features to accomplish, with hypotheses on the impact of new features on B2B sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the “CEO of your domain” by leading a cross-functional team of product owners, UX designers, full stack engineers, data engineers, and scrum master towards building innovative digital banking features in a model that is unique to the banking industry. Hands on execution of the product vision, from ideation through product feature prioritization, to development team project management, to quality assurance and deployment.
- Set and manage OKR’s and KPI’s for prospect conversion, customer adoption, and retention by demonstrating highly usable customer experiences, UI’s, and/or internal business processes, and implementing a culture and process for validated learning with user behavior metrics.
- Maintain a customer and product-oriented feature list that becomes the foundation for all change and operating activities, including identifying and treating differentiating and hygiene features differently.
- Define and manage an innovative change process through business strategy inputs, KPI tracking, end-user behavior metrics, and voice of customer research that generates innovative and concrete ideas with feasible execution plans and high-quality production deployments.
- Define business rules, data definitions, and process standards that ensure consistent rollout of key business themes across all Banking Suite apps, with a primary focus on radically frictionless experiences, cohesion between inbound UI interactions and outbound digital engagement (Email, push, text, etc.), and consistent omni-channel experiences.
- Ensure a well-structured business capability model is leveraged as the main artifact for building detailed user stories and functional designs as concrete inputs to development teams. Ensure ongoing traceability from strategic goals to capabilities to technical components to validated business results. Create high level designs including customer experience journey maps, high level architecture views, and UX mockups, with traceability to detailed execution deliverables including production UX artifacts, business process flows, and business rules.
- Build and maintain a feature-oriented roadmap that is backed by ongoing release-oriented capacity and demand planning to ensure feasible outcomes within reasonable timelines. Must be able to plan the team and projects by continuously balancing resources or tasks based on shifting business demands.
- Obsess daily over the customer experience through data-driven analysis, validated learning, and designing comparative experiments. Manage the ongoing interactions with lead users. Use the product as an end user to build empathy and self-identify improvements.
- Ensure stakeholders are continuously informed of your area’s product strategy and roadmap.
The successful candidate will possess
- Experience with emerging DevOps methods and tools, such as agile/scrum, continuous integration, automated configuration management, test driven development, data center and cloud automation, and UI monitoring and measurement tools.
- Must be highly cross-functional across multiple disciplines including emerging product management practices, HCI and design-thinking, lean startup principles, business systems analysis, BPM, customer experience management, usability engineering, scrum project methods, and quality assurance.
- Experience interacting with executive management and multiple internal and external stakeholders to define and deliver complex features.
- Experience with business model planning, minimum efficient scale analysis, fixed and variable cost modeling, and cost reduction efforts.
- Experience building multi-tenant SaaS platforms and/or large complex systems serving millions of end consumers.
- Understanding of how to leverage responsive, adaptive, and statically designed UI’s effectively.
- Ability to anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.
- Strong mix of analytical (interaction and flow design) and artistic (brand and style) design thinking.
- Superior verbal and written communications skills and history of teamwork.
- Strong attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously.
Qualifications
Required:
- B.S. in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
- 5+ years’ experience as a product director or manager in digital financial services, preferably in FinTech (retail banking or payments) supporting mobile and web-based consumer products in the retail banking or payments industry. Direct and indirect management of high performing teams of 5 to 10 cross-functional resources.
- 5+ years’ experience designing B2C, B2B2C, and/or B2B product delivery models.
- 4+ years’ experience with lead management, funnel management/conversion techniques, customer relationship management, and case tracking processes and technologies.
- 4+ years’ experience with all digital user interaction models, from web to mobile to push notifications to emerging HCI channels such as Alexa.
- Ability to travel 10-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
- 3+ years prior people management skills with ability to work hands-on and/or eventually scale out a product team.
- M.S. and/or MBA preferred.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $158,900-$292,900.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
