Leidos Security Operations is seeking an Industrial Security Representative to support the Civil Solutions and Health Solutions Business Areas in the Gaithersburg, MD office. The candidate will support multiple customers to include FAA, IRS, DHA & Navy. The selected candidate will be responsible for the management of the Public Trust Suitability requirements across multiple programs. In this role, the candidate will coordinate and monitor highly sensitive aspects of industrial security programs and other security activities while ensuring compliance with government and company security policies and procedures.
** The location of this position would be in the Gaithersburg, MD office 3 days a week with 2 days a week working from home.
Primary Responsibilities
- Interpreting and reviewing Security Policy from government customer.
- Responsible for implementing the industrial security program and ensuring company and customer security requirements are met.
- Develop, administer and audit the security program for compliance with government regulations associated with the protection of information.
- Develop, implement and maintain Security Metric Reports for analysis
- Maintain internal security databases with accuracy
- Perform in individual and team roles supporting all contractual security requirements for the program. Reviews all required paperwork and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to submission to the government for processing.
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently hold and be able to maintain a Secret Security Clearance
- Demonstrated ability to successfully handle multiple tasks and conflicting customer requirements
- Self-starter with ability to work independently, customer service orientated
- Ability to interpret company and government security policies and apply them to program operations
- Possess outstanding customer service skills and the ability to deal with all levels of management both internally and externally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience creating and conducting initial security briefings, debriefings, indoctrinations, pre/post foreign travel briefings and refresher briefings, as appropriate
- Experience using SIMS
- Experience with contract review and interpretation
- Experience writing process SOP's
- Experience with review and implementation of requirements in DD254’s

Pay Range:
Pay Range $63,700.00 - $115,150.00
