Powered by Comcast’s global technology platform, Xumo devices and services feature an entertainment experience designed to make it easy for consumers to find and enjoy their favorite streaming content through a world-class user interface and voice search, and for partners to meaningfully connect and engage with millions of consumers.
Our engineering team develop our free ad-supported service that currently delivers more than 200 unique streaming channels and features hundreds of free content choices on our own Xumo platform as well as leading streaming platforms such as YouTube, Amazon, Apple, Google, Roku and smart TV manufacturers such as Samsung, Vizio, LG, Sony.
Are you passionate about machine learning, large scale data, and building real-world systems that improve user experiences for millions? Do you want to work at the intersection of entertainment, streaming media, and AI?
As a Graduate ML/Data Science Engineering Intern, you will help analyze, design, and build innovative ML models and data pipelines that directly shape Xumo’s products. You’ll work on projects that turn data into actionable business insights and smarter product features, from recommendation systems and content personalization to analyzing video streaming performance for better quality of experience. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and gain exposure to the streaming technology.
What You'll Work On
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Research, prototype, and implement ML models or data pipelines for content recommendation, personalization, or video performance optimization.
