Lockheed Martin space is seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant who is a passionate teammate and who will be an integral part of the continued success and growth within the organization. In this position, you'll provide administrative support to the Senior Director of our Lockheed Martin Space Radio Frequency (RF) Talent Center (RFTC) team in Littleton, CO. We're seeking a collaborative team member with a friendly work style, who is well-organized, able to effectively multi-task prioritize, and takes initiative.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Screening callers, arranging meetings, handling office mail/email and other correspondence, and ensuring correspondence is accurate, complete and properly handled
• Answering questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures
• Maintaining complex calendars, making travel arrangements, preparing and reconciling expense reports, submitting catering requests, ordering office supplies, and maintaining office equipment
• Making arrangements for on-site and off-site meetings, conferences, teleconferences, video conferences, PowerPoint chart/agenda production and reproduction and coordinating badge access, as applicable
• Maintaining internal and external areas of a SharePoint site, and other shared resources
We are looking for someone who has a professional demeanor and excellent professional interpersonal skills, both verbal and written. The successful candidate will have the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors. To be successful in this role, you should be flexible and possess project management skills and project coordination, and have sufficient experience to work in a self-guided manner and implement projects with minimal supervision. You should be able to prioritize and to adapt to change or unexpected projects requiring adherence to deadlines. This role will require occasional domestic travel.
Basic Qualifications:
• Relevant administrative experience or similar
• Experience handling confidential and sensitive information
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and /or Access)
• Experience composing reports, correspondence, and/or memorandums
• Experience effectively managing multiple projects or tasks under a deadline
• Must have the ability to obtain a Top Secret government security clearance; must be a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:
• Experience supporting executive leadership at the Director level or above
• Working knowledge of Lockheed Martin (LM) Space policies and procedures a plus
• Prior experience working for a government agency
• Creation of standard operating procedures for an office environment
• Experience with calendar management
• Must have a high degree of interpersonal savviness - relates well to all kinds of people, up, down, and sideways, inside and outside the organization; builds appropriate rapport; builds constructive and effective relationships; uses diplomacy and tact; can diffuse even high-tension situations comfortably.
• Active Top Secret clearance

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $51,100 - $90,045. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
