Title: Risk/QA/SOX Compliance Analyst
Description:
We are seeking a skilled Risk and Compliance Analyst to ensure our IT systems meet rigorous control standards and SOX compliance requirements. The successful candidate will conduct comprehensive assessments, evaluate control systems, manage audit processes, and engage proactively with auditors.
Key Responsibilities:
IT General Controls: Conduct assessments to verify the design and effectiveness of IT general controls in line with industry standards.
SOX Compliance: Lead compliance efforts, identifying improvement areas and implementing strategies to uphold SOX requirements.
Readiness Assessments: Execute thorough readiness evaluations for IT systems to optimize SOX audit preparations.
Audit Management: Understand how to ingest audit requests, anticipate how an auditor will react to what information is gathered, and determine the "next step" to address/respond to the audit teams and their needs.
Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold the firm’s respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications:
Experience: 3 to 5 years in IT audit or risk management with a focus on SOX compliance.
Skills: Strong expertise in IT control environments, excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, proactive communication, and meticulous attention to detail.
