Sr. Business Operations Manager
Job Description Summary
The Senior Business Operations Manager is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing operational excellence across multiple workstreams and regions, including facility management, financial performance, and service delivery. This role partners closely with Directors, Managing Principals, and cross-functional teams to ensure efficient operations, compliance with contractual obligations, and execution of strategic initiatives. The individual will support teams across a national portfolio, drive continuous improvement, and support client and internal communications through high-quality presentation development.
Job Description
Strategic & Operational Leadership
- Lead and standardize operational processes across multiple regions and portfolios, including retail and commercial facilities.
- Ensure compliance with contract obligations, corporate policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute strategic plans, business objectives, and operational roadmaps.
Client & Internal Communications
- Create and present professional PowerPoint decks for client briefings, internal meetings, and strategic planning sessions.
- Support business communication by setting expectations and contributing to leadership discussions and reporting.
Financial Oversight
- Analyze and develop financial plans focused on cost control and reduction.
- Collaborate with Finance to prepare forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses.
- Monitor and report on budget performance, ensuring alignment with business plan goals.
Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices across workstreams.
- Maintain and communicate operational playbooks and process updates.
Performance Monitoring & Compliance
- Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure SLAs and KPIs are met.
- Implement audit and control systems to ensure statutory, policy, and contractual commitments are fulfilled.
- Ensure accurate and reliable management reporting from all facility teams.
Reporting & Metrics
- Lead monthly metrics reporting and identify opportunities for operational efficiencies.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of customer reports and internal dashboards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Communications, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred).
- 5–7 years of experience in operations or facilities management, preferably in commercial real estate or retail banking.
- Proven leadership experience managing multi-site teams and complex portfolios.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Knowledge of compliance standards, health and safety regulations, and contract management.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: $ 130,985.00 - $154,100.00
