What does an Audit and Controls Advisor do at Fiserv?
As an Audit and Controls Advisor for Settlement Controls and Solutions Team (SCS) at Fiserv, you will play a critical role in ensuring financial integrity within Settlement Controls and Solutions. You will leverage your analytical expertise to identify risks, assess compliance with regulations, and lead team improvement initiatives to completion. Your efforts will support accurate financial reporting, enhance operational efficiency, and uphold the highest standards of transparency and accountability, ensuring adherence to Fiserv policies and regulations and serving as a key point of contact for enterprise leadership.
What you will do:
- Conduct comprehensive audits and risk assessments to identify control gaps and develop corrective action plans.
- Formulate, collect, and articulate Key Risk Indicators to the second line of defense.
- Collaborate with department leaders for issue remediation, control revisions, and process changes.
- Expand and enhance current processes, including quality assurance, business resiliency, and system compliance.
- Coordinate and oversee audit and risk requests, and support and walkthroughs related to control gaps, Management Action Plan execution, and risk/audit escalation.
- Serve as a key point of contact between Settlement Controls & Solutions and enterprise leadership.
What will you need to have:
- Experience in analyzing and interpreting data to identify trends
- Experience in reconciling financial records, identifying discrepancies, identifying risks and/or ensuring accuracy
- Experience with finance, accounting principles, bank statements, transaction matching, and/or similar discipline
- 6+ years of an equivalent combination of education, work and/or military experience
What would be great to have:
- Bachelors degree
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, Power BI, SQL, Archer Tool, or Tableau.
- Specialized certifications such as CTP, AAP, CRCM, CISA, CPA.
- Background in Accounting/Bookkeeping, Finance, Treasury, Banking, Data Analytics/Metrics, Risk Compliance, or Business Resiliency.
