We are looking for an individual who embodies a safety-first mentality, takes ownership for getting results and can complete daily operating and maintenance activities. The Gen Gas Site Supervisor will be primarily responsible for all phases of operations of the Cincinnati PHG and ASU Gen Gas facilities. The chosen candidate will need to obtain an understanding of all aspects of the sites’ responsibilities (plant operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and customer communications) with a specific focus on leadership and operating skills of the assigned facilities. The sites are operated and maintained by one person.
A Generated Gases Site Supervisor must be self-motivated, safety conscious, a good communicator and possess good organization, operating, and mechanical skills.

Required Skills / Abilities:
- A track record of success in EH&S and Quality.
- A self-starter with proven leadership abilities. Self-led and highly motivated to plan and ensure the complete execution of all tasks required by our safety, environmental and engineering standards.
- Experience with operation of steam methane reformer (SMR) Hydrogen plants and/or Air Separation Units (ASUs) is a plus but not a specific requirement as training will be provided for the successful candidate.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently but equally able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated computer skills
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Commitment to safety including Basic Safety Performance (BSP) compliance and process safety management.
- Promotion and support of customer relations through effective communications and customer interactions.
- Completion of the Site Leadership Program
- Completion of all administrative responsibilities for the site.
- Leading all aspects of the day-to-day operation, including but not limited to:
- Troubleshooting plant process or mechanical problems, coordinating and performing maintenance activities, driving plant efficiency and plant projects.
- 24/7 on-call responsibilities for response to plant alarms and shutdowns.
- Identifying maintenance concerns, developing and implementing corrective/preventive measures while working within planned maintenance budgets.
- Working and communicating regularly and effectively with the North America Operating Service Center (OSC), asset manager, regional maintenance manager, tech support team, and PHG Operations Line Manager.
- Assist other Gen Gas supervisors in the area as needed. Including but not limited to:
- Plant issues and troubleshooting
- Vacation coverage
Minimum Hiring Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Two- or four-year degree in a technical field a plus but not required.
- 2 years of relevant operations experience is preferred.
- Team player that is flexible with a positive attitude.
- Must be willing to work alone and be 24 hours on call.
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
Physical Requirements:
- Elevated work: must be able to climb ladders, and steps.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
