Description:Field Sales Spt Sys Engr Stf - Logistics EngineerLocation: Palmdale CAWhat You Will Be DoingAs a Field Sales Support Systems Engineer Staff – Level 4, you will serve as the primary point of contact for ADP Skunkworks Sustainment Operations, ensuring mission-critical spares and repairs are available to support operational readiness. In this role, you will provide expert analysis, forecasting, and risk mitigation related to inventory management, configuration changes, and sustainment impacts. You will collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, repair facilities, and military stakeholders to ensure seamless logistics operations across the lifecycle of supported systems.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the central contact for sustainment operations, including spares forecasting, supportability assessments, MICAP sourcing, and configuration management impact evaluation.
- Track and report metrics for spares and repairs, ensuring inventory sufficiency aligns with mission requirements.
- Manage and control customer inventory assets under Performance Based Logistics (PBL) and Total System Performance Responsibility (TSPR) contracts.
- Make operational decisions regarding inventory allocation, asset redistribution, and priority interpretation across suppliers, repair facilities, 3PLs, and military operating locations.
- Respond to military service inquiries, support requests for proposals, and provisioning determinations.
- Utilize inventory optimization models and forecasts to manage budget requirements and ensure mission readiness.
- Interface with company and DoD information systems to maintain accurate asset identification and resolve technical or support issues.
- Prepare status reports and metrics relating to supplier performance, inventory position, and overall system readiness.

Previous experience interfacing with government or military customers for shipments using MILAIR
Experience with item management, supply chain, logistics, or a related field
Experience with drafting reports and/or reporting metrics, (i.e, to be shared with a higher-level leadership audience for program status)
Previous experience with item shipping (i.e. spares, repairs, kits, in a domestic and/or international customer, classified and/or non-classified program support)
Desired Skills:Experience in shipping and receiving requirements per DCMA, FIAR and military standards.
Previous experience interfacing with government or military customers for shipments
Experience with Goldesp systems
Previous SAP use
Ability to draft plans, processes and instructions, and other policy materials and documents.
Knowledge and experience of Supply Chain Management
Previous experience with inventory management (i.e. aircraft hardware spares and repairs, requirements computations, critical item management, time change requirements)

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $99,700 - $175,835. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
