About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a
Lead Merchant Product Sales Consultant to support the development of merchant services sales for our
government banking clients. This position will partner with multiple Treasury Management Sales Consultants and Relationship Managers in a consultative selling role and is responsible for meeting annual sales goals and pipelining activity targets.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, particularly within the
government sector. They should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, along with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

- Act as key participant in large-scale planning for Business to Business (B2B) Sales functional area
- Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted, large-scale, and long-term business, operational, or technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors
- Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of Business to Business (B2B) Sales functional area, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and lead a broader work team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and middle to more experienced level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Lead Business to Business (B2B) Sales projects and teams
- Serve as a mentor for less experienced individuals
Required Qualifications:- 5+ years of Business to Business (B2B) Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:- Experience with Merchant products and services
- Experience working within the government space and knowledge of RFP's
- Skilled in building strong partnerships through effective collaboration, relationship management, and communication
- Ability to think strategically, implement, and deliver business objectives
