About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Development & Partnerships Director to join our Cobrand Cards & Business Development team within Cards, Merchant Services, and Personal Loans (CMSPL). This individual will lead a team focused on identifying, negotiating, and executing external partnerships in support of CMSPL business priorities, with an initial focus on delivering diversified card benefits and growth-related capabilities

- Source business development and partnership opportunities, with an initial focus on delivering diversified card benefits and growth-related capabilities
- Service as the liaison between CMSPL and other lines of businesses and functions on broader enterprise opportunities
- Field and vet in-bound opportunities from external partners
- Lead end-to-end deal structuring and negotiation
- Establish and manage routines with CMSPL leadership and partners on deal activity and pipeline
- Coordinate hand-offs with internal teams on post-deal execution and ongoing partner management
- Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing team
Required Qualifications:- 8+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, including Management or leadership experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of management or leadership experience
- 8+ years of Business Development experience at a top-tier credit card issuer
Desired Qualifications:- Proven track record of sourcing, negotiating, and launching high-impact partnerships within the credit card business
- Strong understanding of credit card economics and the broader ecosystem of issuers, networks, fintechs, and merchants
- Experience building financial models and business cases
- Experience creating operating models with business stakeholders that elicit trust and alignment
- Experience leading and engaging high-performing teams
Job Expectations:- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time

Pay Range:- $185,000 to 300,000 annually
- May be considered for a discretionary bonus, Restricted Share Rights, or other long-term incentive awards
Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$185,000.00 - $300,000.00
