Wells Fargo is seeking a Macro Credit CDS Trader to join our Credit Investment Grade Trading Desk.
In this role, you will:- Effectively manage risk positions across high grade credit within the guidelines of Well Fargo's trading mandate
- Work with desk strategists and the sales force to source and develop unique trade ideas to introduce to clients, create liquidity and drive capital efficiencies
- Create and maintain relationships with buy-side trading counterparts, internal business partners, and internal sales and trading personnel across all trading desks
Required Qualifications:- 7+ years of Securities Trading experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:- 5+ years of credit trading experience with a background that includes trading, institutional investing, or other relevant capital markets experience in the CDS markets at a bank, corporate trading desk and/or investing client.
- Extensive credit product knowledge inclusive of bonds, ETFs, and credit derivatives
- Strong analytical skills to support in depth corporate asset class, sector, industry, issuer, and product valuation & risk analysis.
- Strong quantitative and technical skillset to support Portfolio Trading, Electronic Trading and Hedging/Capital optimization.
- In-depth understanding of risk management and regulatory/capital requirements and its respective impact to credit trading.
- Has established relationships across the credit markets including buy-side clients.
- Adaptive skillset and can work well in a fast-paced trading environment.
- Organized, affable, and able to work in a collegial, team-oriented environment.
- Self-motivated possess exceptional communication skills.
Job Expectations:- Registration for FINRA Series 7/63/SIE, and 55/57 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
- NFA Swap Dealer and SEC Security-Based Swap Dealer AP Designation required.
- Ability to travel as needed
- Willingness to work on-site in accordance with current office requirements
- Ability to work additional hours as needed
- This position is subject to Dodd-Frank Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background screen. Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$215,000.00 - $355,000.00
