As a Warehouse Team Lead at Caterpillar, you will be responsible for helping the team provide service to the production floor. The Team Lead is a working member of the team. This position leads and supports a team of 5 to 10 people. The role of the team lead is to help team members be successful at meeting safety requirements, quality levels, takt time requirements and performance goals.

This shift is from 8:00p-6:00a Monday-Thursday.
Starting pay for this role is $22.35 + $1.00 shift premium.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
· Helping train new Team Members with on the job training
· Filling in for absent Team Members or other Team Leads
· Help resolve issues related to safety, quality, velocity and cost.
· Collecting data and updating metric boards as needed
· Conducting Performance Improvement Dialogues at the cell level
· Helping create and update Standard Work
· Monitoring the process to make sure that standard work is being followed
· Work safety at ALL times and comply with safety regulations
· Keep work area, equipment, storage area, etc., clean and orderly at all times
· Offer suggestions relative to improving work process, procedures, productivity, job safety or work environment
Basic Qualifications:
· Minimum of 1 warehouse and/or manufacturing experience
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
· Previous leadership (ie: team lead, supervisor, etc)
· Intermediate level proficiency utilizing SAP
· Ability to promote a team atmosphere
· Strong organizational skills including experience delegating
· Strong communication skills

Summary Pay Range:
$22.35 - $29.05
