Description:You will be the Quality Engineering Associate Manager: Auditing and System Compliance, for the MFC Business Area.
What You Will Be Doing As the Quality Engineer Associate Manager, you will be responsible for planning, conducting, and leading audits to assess compliance with internal and external requirements, standards, and regulations.
Engineering skillsets required to audit for compliance to the Intermediate Root Cause & Corrective Actions, auditing Quality Notifications/nonconformance documentation for adequate problem definitions, assess disposition trends for effectiveness and technical adequacy (including engineering justification for UAI dispositions and repair instructions), and system evaluation of MFC's Material Review Board (MRB) processes.
This role will also oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality management systems, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead cross-functional audit teams to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for corrective action
- Collaborate with quality engineering, operations, and other stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of quality management systems and processes
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality procedures, work instructions, and other documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
- Analyze audit results, identify trends, and provide recommendations for process improvements
- Develop and deliver training programs to promote quality awareness and compliance throughout the organization
- Ensure timely and effective closure of audit findings and corrective actions
- Interface with external auditors, regulatory agencies, and customers to ensure compliance with external requirements

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality engineering, auditing, or a related field
• Bachelors level degree or higher in STEM and/or equivalent experience/combined education
• Experience in auditing and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, including AS9100, ISO 9001, and Lockheed Martin quality standards
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Desired Skills:• STEM degree at bachelors level or higher preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with audit tools and software, such as audit management systems and statistical process control

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
