Description: You will be the Subcontract Management Staff for the THAAD Global Supply Chain team. Our team is responsible for managing subcontracts and ensuring the timely delivery of quality products to our customers, supporting the THAAD program's production and development efforts.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Subcontract Management Staff, you will be responsible for leading an aggressive capacity effort across multiple suppliers and locations to achieve desired production rates on time or ahead of schedule. You will serve as the primary liaison between Lockheed Martin and our suppliers, driving communication and collaboration to deliver results.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education,
• 8+ years of professional experience,
• Previous professional experience leading negotiations with suppliers to ensure cost and schedule objectives are captured in contractual commitments
• Previous professional experience with the procurement and management of specialized materials, complex assemblies, and equipment.
• Knowledge of standard acquisition policies and procedures
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 10 years of professional experience; or 8 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree.
• Experience managing supplier capacity efforts.
• Experience managing cost type subcontracts.
• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and contracting types
• In depth knowledge of all types of contracts and how to utilize which type in various program scenarios.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and changes in deadlines
• Experience with long-form subcontracts utilizing Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP)
• Aerospace program negotiation skills and experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and work well under pressure
• Experienced presenter to Program Management and Customer representative
• Self Motived with a demonstrated sense of urgency and ownership, and accountability for tasks/assignments

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
