Leidos has an immediate opening for Solution Architect to join our Cyber and Analytics Business Area (CABA) team in either Reston, VA or Chantilly, VA.
In this role, you will help customers solve their more demanding challenges via technology, modernization, and transformation processes, and proven methods and solutions. As part of a creative, forward-thinking team, you will help shape solutions to make the world safer, healthier, and more efficient. As a Solution Architect, you will work with business development, research and development, and other subject matter experts to develop optimal and differentiated Leidos solutions to be delivered on programs, in proposals, or on research and development projects. In addition to developing solutions, you will help prospective customers and partners understand the value and benefits of the Leidos solution, explain technical features and transformation strategies, engage in proof of concepts, and troubleshoot potential problems.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work both independently and with other Solution Architects to drive technical strategies and solutions that leverage all sources of technology, including internal investment and industry partnerships
- Partner with Business Development teams to support new business strategies, including the development of technical solutions, white papers, industry relationships, analyses of alternatives (AoA), and responses to Market Surveys, RFIs, and proposals
- Support Business Development teams with customer meetings and the Leidos corporate business development process for larger opportunities
- Understand competitor and teammate technology competencies
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a STEM related discipline and 15+ years of prior relevant experience or a Masters with 13+ years of prior relevant experience
- Experience designing or developing technical solutions to address complex customer mission challenges
- Experience as a solution architect or technical volume lead on captures and proposals
- Current experience with Cybersecurity technologies to include cryptography or Offensive Cybers Operations (OCO)
- Working knowledge of diverse technology domains to include Cloud, Data Processing/Analytics, Software Engineering, AI/ML, and/or Computer Network Operations with a focus on the associated Cybersecurity implications
- Strong technical breadth in support of the classified US government market in highly regulated environments
- Experience supporting IC and/or DoD customers with demonstrated technical expertise
- Ability to quickly get up to speed on emerging technologies and identify solutions applicable to the CABA customers
- Ability to author, present, and articulate problem sets and solution elements in settings supporting customers, business development, program delivery, technical teams, and executives
- US citizen with an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of specialized data processing domains (ELINT, SIGINT, etc.)
- Understanding of defensive cyber security technologies
- Experience with enterprise system architectures and development
- Experience with integrating new technologies into existing system architectures

Pay Range:
Pay Range $148,850.00 - $269,075.00
