What does a successful Credit Risk Underwriter do at Fiserv?
You will be part of the Credit Risk Management team and create and execute credit risk strategies for financial products provided to merchants including underwriting, monitoring and potential workout scenarios.
What you will do:
- Leverage transaction level merchant data to power risk decisions which will involve extensive data analysis using advanced techniques on this powerful dataset to arrive at smart Risk-Return Tradeoff decisions.
- Create underwriting strategies for new financial products.
- Underwrite large size deals.
What you need to have:
- High School graduate/GED
- 3 years of experience in risk and loan underwriting financing.
- 3 years of experience in evaluating financial statements, and bank statements to assess credit risk.
What would be great to have:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Merchant Cash Advance experience.
- High energy and drive to innovate and evolve existing products, policies and processes and effectively manage day-to-day processes.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a matrix environment; work closely with cross functional business partners.
How you will work:
This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experience helps you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
