What does a great Client Business Analyst do?
As a Client Business Analyst, you will ensure that Fiserv delivers on its commitments to our financial institution partners. And you will serve a meaningful role in driving client satisfaction in partnership with stakeholders across the organization.
Specifically, you will be responsible for 1) Executing daily operations review of clients’ reports, 2) Addressing clients’ inquiries through research, 3) Basic troubleshooting of clients’ API calls 4) Understanding the clients’ business objectives, 5) Supporting the compilation of clients’ project requirements, 6) Supporting system settings analysis, testing and configuration and 7) Liaison between client and Fiserv teams support client initiatives.
You are a contributor who will support initiatives in support of our client needs. In addition, you will proficiently execute against key business success metrics including financial targets and client experience metrics.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Execute client delivery and service processes to support client initiatives
Support voice of the customer feedback for end-to-end client satisfaction and engagement
Understand the client business requirements with the desired business outcomes and implements solutions
Support the compilation of project requirements – Identifies, research, analyzes and writes client business requirements
Understand product including usage and functions
Address client inquiries through research and timely responses to ensure high client satisfaction.
Support clients with basic troubleshooting of API calls.
Executes daily operations review of reports for accurate examination and compliance validation, with prompt identification and communication to client of outlier conditions.
Executes completion and approval of testing, user documentation, and blended learning plans with support
Executes business and system development methodologies are followed and continuously improved
Ensures clients and other departments actively participate in appropriate phases of the process, such as requirements definition, quality inspection of design documents, testing and validation
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Operations, Management, Information Systems or related field or an equivalent combination of education, work, and military experience.
What you will need to have:
2+ years of experience in customer-facing projects, client support roles, or IT service industry
Proven ability to understand business and technical concepts and make balanced judgments
Effective verbal and written communication
Strong deductive reasoning skills
Proven follow-up skills with attention to detail
Strong results orientation with demonstrated track record of success to effectively complete activities
Ability to work autonomously on day-to-day responsibilities
A high degree of adaptability and flexibility to excel in a dynamic environment
What would be great to have:
Experience with Fiserv systems (Optis, PCF, ACS, Letters, DQ, Rules)
Experience in the Financial Services and/or Information Technology Industries
Experience with Waterfall and Agile Development methodologies
Understanding of business financial practices and accounting
Basic understanding of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)
Basic understanding of data communications and LAN/WAN.
