Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. Job Description
Programme Essentials
To join one of our 12-month Internships you must meet one of the following criteria:
- Currently be an undergraduate studying at University and returning to full time education in Autumn 2027.
- Looking for employment after completing A-Levels or equivalent course or an Apprenticeship.
In addition, you must be eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the internship from Monday 29th June 2026 – Friday 23rd July 2027.
We strongly advise that you do not apply to more than 1 Internship role to ensure that you are considered for the Internship that you are most interested in and that your skills are aligned to.
What will I be doing?
The Hayu, International Networks & DTC PR team is responsible for the promotion of our brands and content across EMEA (Networks) and the footprint of reality SVOD service Hayu (45 territories.) Key tasks include:
- Asset Management: sourcing/cataloguing assets for key programming and sharing materials with local teams and PR contacts
- Managing Press Materials: compile press kits, develop publicity ideas, drafting press releases
- Supporting Talent Access: assist with organisation of talent interviews and press events
- PR Coverage: archiving and sharing of all press coverage, preparing coverage reports as needed
- Internal Comms: Supporting on newsletters and other internal comms initiatives
What will I learn from this opportunity?
As a member of the PR & Comms team, you will:
- Develop a solid understanding of how the function operates, supporting a broad range of content and brands across multiple countries
- Gain foundational skills for a career in publicity/comms, from creating press materials and fulfilling talent requests, to monitoring and evaluating media coverage/campaigns
- Learn how to support a PR/Comms team with everything from administration and budgets to talent and event logistics

Basic Requirements:
- Passion for Entertainment & Media with a desire to pursue a career in publicity and communications.
- Strong written & verbal communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative, multi-task and prioritise workloads.
- Excellent attention to detail & time management.
- Highly motivated, enthusiastic and a self-starter.
